Your love is unconditional,
Even when I was being difficult,
You would put up with me when I was being unreasonable,
And shower me with material gifts,
You did not bother about the embarrassment,
To buy me pink panadols even without me asking you to,
And would go to any extend,
Even if it means surprising me through my room window,
Or act like a stupid fool,
Just to put a smile on my face,
You would protect me at all costs,
And always reminded me that I was your only one,
Encourages and supports me,
In regardless of what I do.
You would write me flowery poems and songs,
As though Romeo was expressing his love for his Juliet,
When you were out with your friends,
You would think of me and bought me gifts.
You always kept to your promises,
And fulfilled all my wishes,
You took your cap off and put it on me,
When it was just drizzling,
You were selfless when it comes to me,
And you would know it when I was down,
Even without me saying anything about it,
You were one hell of a great listener,
Knowing your great love for sleep,
You would sacrifice your precious sleep,
Just to accompany me and hear me rant,
Till the wee hours of the morning.
You said you were my protector,
And tailed behind my car,
Just to ensure that I reached home safely,
Even though it was totally out of your way.
You lied to me that you needed to drop by your god-father's house,
Which was just nearby my area,
So that you could drive me home,
Even when I said that you didn't have to,
You got out of your comfort zone,
To accompany me,
To start all over,
Among of a crowd whom we call strangers.
You may say, "Where got guy so perfect one?"
Well, you are right!
Cos there isn't anyone who is perfect.
This description above is of 5 different guys who is/was in my life, that's why he seemed so 'perfect'.
Sometimes after being in the relationship for some time, we tend to only see the flaws in our partners instead of their good qualities. We might even start comparing them with our previous ex-es and question why aren't them anything like our ex-lovers.
Once I read from Jessy's blog...
"In a relationship you're only going to get 80% of what you want.
But there will always be another guy/girl who offers you another 20%,
and that 20% looks really good when you are not getting it all from your current relationship.
You will always be tempted to leave the 80% because you think you will get something better with the 20%.
But in the end, you will regret choosing the 20% because what you really want is your 80%."
It's so true isn't it?
So stop complaining about your current relationship, and start appreciating your partner before its too late.
There will always be someone else who can offer you the 20% you so long for, which your partner can't give it to you. You got to accept your partner for who he/she is cos no one is perfect, not even yourself. Look in the mirror before you correct or complain about your other half. And once you accept each other's imperfection, the perfection will come!
